Haru had left Yasuo at the Order with not any one of his things. They were all gone in the fire. He needed to make plans to get a new weapon, especially if he was going to be a fighter now. Maybe they’d let him practice with something else until he could afford it. He didn’t know much of what to expect from the Seidhrfolk. It was bit unnerving; but at least he wasn’t here alone.
Haru grabbed Tori’s hand before he walked through the portal with her, now they were on the other side, supposedly near where the Seidhrfolk were camped. He squeezed her hand a bit when he realized they were obviously no where close.
“You don’t see anything I don’t, do you?” he asked her, a bit anxious they were now lost forever.
“They have to be nomads, don’t they?” he said, a bit peeved they couldn’t just stick in one place for their sake!

Viktoria still had her sabre. She had grabbed it when she realized that the temple was on fire, afraid that there was some sort of demon who had caused it. In the end, it had been a demon, but it wasn't one who she could so easily get rid of.
But that was the past, and this was the future. There was no more Chao Xi, now it was the Seidhrfolk. Hopefully, they would be welcomed.
Viktoria gulped when she realized that they weren't very close as well. "Well. . No, I don't see anything," she said, a little anxious as well. She looked over at Haru. "I'm sure we'll find them! I mean, they can't have gone too far, right?"
She looked on the ground, wondering if there was any sign of where they had gone. People left signs, after all, and the Seidhrfolk was large enough to leave behind a lot of signs that they had been there.

While Tori was looking on the ground, Haru scanned the horizon. It was early evening and the sun was setting, so it was still pretty easy to see if there was smoke or something rising from a camp or another fire.
“Yeah, I don’t think so. There are a lot of them, right? That means they can’t move all that fast, right…?” he said.
This was frustrating, but they weren’t going to get anything done just standing here. He thought he saw something in the north, was that smoke, or his imagination?
“Do you see smoke over there?” he pointed out for her, just to make sure he wasn’t crazy.
He wondered if the Seidhrfolk kept scouts and things. He wondered if they were going to think they were spies or something! That could be bad, especially if they shoot first and ask questions later!

Viktoria looked up, and lo and behold, there was smoke. She grinned at Haru. "Yeah, it's smoke!" she said, happy that they had a clue of where the Seidhrfolk were. "And you're right, they can't move too fast because there's a lot of them," she added.
Viktoria wasn't sure if there were scouts or anything from the Seidhrfolk around, but she figured that if they ran into anything, that her and Haru would be calm and civil and explain the situation. Hopefully they wouldn't assume anything, either, and they wouldn't begin randomly attacking them. That would not be very good.
"Well, we should get going," Viktoria said, and began walking. She realized she was still holding Haru's hand, so she stopped for a second to allow him to walk with her. She didn't want to end up dragging him to the Seidhrfolk! That wouldn't look very good, and she would feel pretty bad about it anyway.

“Great!” cried Haru, glad to at least have a direction for their travels. Getting lost wasn’t high on the list of ‘possible outcomes’ in this situation. Though, living in the wild looked pretty fun in movies, it didn’t quite pan out in real life.
He started to walk with her, but got excited and ended up leading. He kept going for awhile until he heard something in front of them. It sounded like someone was coming toward them.
Haru stopped in a bit of panic, “Hello? Anyone there?”
If it was a scout, he figured they shouldn’t act suspicious. That way they didn’t think they were up to something.
“’Ey!” he heard suddenly as a tall figure came up to them, “Whatcha guys doin’ out here? You’re in tha middle ‘a nowhere!”
Sergio had heard these two tromping around from about a half mile away, so he didn’t figure they meant any harm. He saw the girl had a sword on her. She must be a fighter then, or maybe they meant to join?

Viktoria looked over at Haru for a second before looking at Sergio and answering. "We're looking for the Seidhrfolk," she said. "We'd like to join them." It was pretty simple, although she wondered if she should elaborate. After all, they were another faction. . Yeah, she decided she should tell this guy about the Chao Xi temple burning down.
But only after he proved himself to be someone who knew what was going on. After all, for all they knew, it was some random demon who was about to attack the Seidhrfolk. She thought it might be better to be quiet about it before getting to the camp.
Although perhaps this guy would wonder how they knew about the Seidhrfolk and stuff? Oh well, Haru and Viktoria could tell him if he asked. Otherwise, it might be better to keep their mouths shut for a little bit until they got to the Seidhrfolk camp.

Sergio stared at Viktoria for a moment before he said anything. It wasn’t common that people knew much about the Seidhrfolk, let alone wanted to join them. He scratched his head for a minute before he answered, sizing up Haru and Viktoria. The girl looked like she knew what she was doing, but the guy was skinny and unsure of himself. Sergio knew better than to judge books by their covers, though.
“A’ight,” he said finally, “I can take ya to ‘em. Not a prob, I’m one of ‘em!”
He waved for them to follow and hiked up his sword that was sheathed across his back. Haru gave Tori a look that said he thought this guy was a nutter, but began to follow.
“I s’pose ya wanna see Conall, then,” Sergio thought out loud.
Haru wasn’t completely sure who Conall was, but he forgot who the leaders of everything where named.

Viktoria began walking, following Sergio. Well, that was good; they'd run into one of the Seidhrfolk and hadn't gotten into a fight! She smiled, glad that this was all going well. They hadn't run into any succubus versions of their former faction members yet, after all. Viktoria found herself wondering what had happened to Noah, and how the rest of the former Chao Xi members were doing. She hoped everyone was alright.
Viktoria shrugged at Haru. The guy was a little weird, but he would take them where they needed to go. If he tried to attack them, well, Viktoria and Haru could handle a crazy serial killer.
"Yeah, that'd be great," Viktoria answered. Conall sounded familiar, and Viktoria hoped that that was the leader of the Seidhrfolk's name. It sounded familiar, and correct, so hopefully it was right. Then again, she couldn't even remember what the head of the Order's name was. Something Eastern European sounding.

“We’re ‘bout three-quarters of a mile off,” said Sergio as he led the way to the camp.
Haru looked at Tori for a moment, trying to figure out if he could tell her he felt awkward here without saying anything. He felt quite out of place and really nervous, which was why he hadn’t said anything for most of their time there.
He remembered the trick he’d shown her when they’d gone adventuring in his head… He wondered if that would work and not put them to sleep…
I’m so nervous, he attempted to tell her thought his contact with her, You don’t think they’ll throw us out because we’re magical, do you?
That wasn’t even half the worry he had at this point. He had been thinking about how magical-phobic the Seidhrfolk were when Sergio had popped up in their line of sight.

Viktoria blinked in surprise when she heard Haru's voice in her head, but she quickly remembered his fancy power of getting into other people's heads. Alright, good, she wasn't going crazy or anything. Hopefully not, at least.
I hope not, she thought back. We'll just explain the situation to them, and hopefully they'll accept us. You were a Ni Huo, anyway, and I could do both parts, so we don't have to use magic. . We're both strong without magic, anyway! You used a bardiche, after all!
Viktoria really hoped that she was right and that this Conall guy didn't throw them out. How would they get back to the Order? They'd be wandering around and that would just be awful.
Three quarters of a mile wasn't far, thankfully. Viktoria was glad that they had run intot his random Seidhrfolk member. She wondered what he was doing a mile away from camp, but then decided he was probably a scout or something.
