Natalie raised her eyebrows as Renee turned around, presumably to make sure Natalie didn't somehow attack her when her back was turned. Bah. "If I wanted to kill you," she said logically, "You would be dead. Also, walking into a room you've never been inside with your back turned isn't the best idea, either."
Once Renee walked inside the room, Natalie entered it, and closed the door behind her. "So what do you know of fighting?" she asked. She should at least know how strong this girl was. Humans weren't fragile beings, but compared to Reznova, they were like twigs. It wasn't as though Natalie was planning on injuring her too badly, though- If Lilith had sent this girl over to Natalie, that meant she had some use for her. Oh well. Again, it was a good thing Natalie had already eaten. Then she would be absolutely miserable right now, and she had a feeling Lilith would not appreciate the dead body.

Renee brushed off the criticism. The lieutenant thought she could kill her? Hah. She highly doubted that. Although a part of her knew that it was completely unrealistic, part of her felt as though she were invincible. She was strong enough that she had never been injured or anything by any of her victims. If somebody seriously harmed her, it would be by her choice, she insisted. Since she was not a masochist, that would mean never. A sadist, almost certainly, but not a masochist. She wondered if Lili-- No, she suddenly stopped that thought before it got too far. What the HELL was she thinking about, now!?
She focused her attention back onto Natalie, deciding that whatever they were discussing would be a much safer topic. When she was asked what she knew of fighting, she had to make a point of not rolling her eyes at the question. She knew lots of things about it, and sitting there listing them all was stupid. "Lots of stuff. Basics and stuff I've picked up. Dunno what any of it'd be called or anything." She answered honestly, if not in a manner that only barely answered what she had been asked.

Natalie nodded. "I see," she said. "So you've never had any formal training, then?" Natalie hadn't, either, but she was able to make up for it in speed and strength. That was the good thing, she supposed, about being her. Natalie had figured a long time ago that working for Lilith was a far better deal than rotting in Hell. After all, Lilith was a far better boss than any of the demon lords were.
Natalie got into a semi-decent fighting stance. She looked almost. . Predatory. "Well," she began, "Let's get started." She was going to gauge Renee's strength. She couldn't really gauge it against her own, so that wasn't good, but Natalie had an idea of how good the average demon hunter was at fighting. Besides, Renee could always improve, even if she was a better fighter than Conall Ruthven himself. And Natalie highly doubted that that was true.

No, Renee thought, she had not had any formal training... but she was probably a hell of a lot better fighter than any of the people who could have trained her, at least where she came from. The way that Natalie said this annoyed her, though. It sounded to her almost as though the lieutenant were saying that she was not as good, because she had never been 'formally trained.' She was determined to prove her wrong and wipe that expression off her face.
She got into a fighting stance as well. She considered herself to be a lot better at fighting with weapons, but it didn't matter. She had determination on her side, now. It didn't matter that this woman was a lieutenant in Hell, clearly implying that she should be a skilled fighter. She was completely determined that she would kick this woman's ass and show her that she didn't NEED her stupid training, or her assistance, or anything from her!
With that, she threw the first punch, literally, aiming right at the lieutenant's face.

Natalie herself hadn't been formally trained, so she wasn't looking down on Renee. She had simply been making an observation about the girl, not trying to be superior or anything. Natalie already saw herself as superior to Renee; she didn't need to articulate it. That was the good thing about not being human anymore- Natalie was far stronger and faster than she had been as a human.
Then again, when she was a human, she had been a little bit of a wimp. Oh well, it was expected and utterly proper.
Renee aimed a punch at Natalie's face, and so Natalie dodged quickly- Almost superhumanly so- And sent a punch at Renee's stomach. She didn't use a great deal of speed in the punch, instead using the average speed for a fighter.
This wasn't a fair fight by anyone's standards, but Natalie thought it would be nice to level the playing field just a little. Even if part of her wanted to absolutely destroy the pride this girl had. Might as well do a good deed and keep her away from Lucifer's breaking wheel.

Renee was frustrated that the woman was able to dodge her, and even more so when she felt the punch to her stomach. However, it was not the first time she had been punched, and she tried to not even let Natalie see that it had hurt in the slightest. Letting her know that would be like saying she was stronger, and that was something that Renee would never do, no matter what.
Quickly, she moved forward as though aiming towards the lieutenant's face once more, but instead swung her leg to kick the lieutenant's feet out from under her. Of course aiming for the exact same place as she had before would be stupid, she thought, because the woman would most likely be already prepared to block it. Besides, it was common sense that most people at least flinched away when they thought something was coming toward their face, regardless of whether or not it really was.

Natalie dodged the blow and stepped aside easily. That was certainly a benefit, she thought, before sending a fast kick towards Renee's left knee and then following up with a punch towards her right shoulder. Even if she stepped back, she would be leaving her right side open to attack, and unless she managed to hop back in a short amount of time, one of the blows would hit, Natalie was sure.
She was impressed, at least, with Renee's ability to not show pain. After all, being punched in the gut certainly hurt. Natalie was glad it didn't happen to her very often. So, if anything, this girl was good at not showing when she was hurt. A good enough trait, Natalie figured.
Of course, she was going up against Natalie Fёderova Reznova. Any normal human would have some trouble, especially with no prior knowledge of who and what she was. Just like Renee. Unfortunately for Renee, Natalie was hardly the strongest person in hell and truthfully, paled in comparison to a great number of other demons.

"F--" Renee stopped herself short of crying out as her knee was kicked. Every second she would spend trying to regain her balance would most likely leave her wide open with arms flailing at her sides. On the other hand, she had another alternative to just go with it. True, when one was on the ground, they were more compressed, making it often easier for them to protect oneself. It also severely limited her attack options, but in the extremely short amount of time she had to decide, she thought it sounded better than leaving herself wide open for who knows how long.
She tried to land in a position where it would be easier to protect herself. She was extremely pissed now. Now, she insisted, she was going to get serious - the rest had just been a warm-up. As she got up, she made an effort to stomp on Natalie's foot as hard as she could, protecting her body with her left arm and face with her right.

Natalie almost lost her balance when Renee fell over. She had put too much strength into that punch, and she had put in too much faith in Renee to dodge the kick. Oh well. Perhaps Renee wasn't as good at fighting as Natalie had originally thought. Well, then this would be kind of pathetic from here on out. She quickly straightened herself out.
She cringed, just a bit, when Renee stomped on her foot. Damn, she should have been paying more attention instead of thinking. Oh well. If Renee didn't want to play fair, Natalie didn't have to, either.
So Natalie feigned left, and then sent two blows towards Renee's chest- The first to distract her, and the second to actually hit. If both hit, that was fine. She used an increasing amount of strength each time that she hit Renee. After all, someone stomping on one's foot tended to be rather irritating.

When Natalie aimed toward Renee's chest, she automatically moved her arm to block the fist. The second one, though, she had not been nearly as prepared for and made a clumsy attempt at dodging by leaning backwards and to the other side. Mentally, she cursed at herself for not being more prepared, but she felt much better about the whole thing now that she had gotten one hit in, and a block as well. Obviously she had just been watching the woman's fighting style, to see how she fought. While she was warming up. Right.
Now that she was set off balance, she had to recover from that while still trying to not leave herself open. Deciding she might as well go all out, even if it left a few spots open (after all, there were almost no ways to completely protect oneself). She grabbed to pull the woman's hair, while at the same time going to knee her in the crotch. To her, fighting was fighting; she had never learned the meaning of fighting dirty. If it hurt them - which both of those things certainly would, quite a bit, if they hit - she didn't care what people called her tactics.
