Dago pushed Vida and the wheelchair through the main Library. There didn’t seem to be anyone here, but the bookcases were tall enough where someone could be hidden if they wished.
“Welcome to the Library,” he said, pushing her toward the Infirmary, “The healer’s name is Yasuo, he’s a little hyperactive, but he’ll take care of you.”
He pushed through the doors of the Infirmary and found it was dark. That meant Yasuo wasn’t here. He flicked on the lights and pushed Vida over to a bed. He tilted the head so she’d be able to sit up a little and put her in it.
“I’ll be right back, I have to go get him,” he said, rushing back through the doors.
Several long minutes later, Yasuo appeared through the door, nodding to someone who was speaking to him on the other side. He turned around to look at Vida.
“Hiya!” he said, probably a bit too cheerily, “You’re Vida, right?”

"The Library?" Vida asked, raising her eyebrows. Oh, great, that sounded like some stuffy place that wasn't fun at all. Well, hopefully the book would be different than it's cover, Vida thought. She didn't want to be holed up in some boring place like this all the time. Then again, she figured that she'd probably be allowed to leave and go out into the outside world- After all, Dago had been out there.
"Yeah, I'm Vida. I take it you're Yasuo?" she asked, smiling. Awesome, another cute guy! Well, this place couldn't be too boring and stuffy if it was filled with cute guys, right? And Yasuo seemed to have a good fashion sense, at the very least. Then again, she had yet to meet everyone else- For all she knew, these could be the only interesting people in the Library.
She was expecting this Head of the Order guy to be some old, stereotypical wizard with a beard.

Yasuo nodded, “Yep, that’s me. Dago went to talk to Marian,” he explained.
He didn’t realize that she wouldn’t know who Marian was, but he didn’t know how much she did or didn’t know. He guessed he’d be finding out the hard way!
“Dago said you broke your left arm and leg, and some ribs, right?” he said, approaching her bed.
The casts were pretty obvious on her body, but he just wanted to make sure he wouldn’t have to heal anything else. Healing her bones was already going to take nearly everything out of him, he wasn’t all that well practiced.
“Just to warn you now, I’m not really good at medical stuff, I just have the magic,” he said, “I’m learning, but if I do something that hurts, tell me, okay?”
He moved over to her left side and placed both his hands on the cast. He shut his eyes and his palms started to glow faintly blue.

"Is Marian the Head of the Order?" Vida asked. Alright, so it was some old woman, then. Didn't really change much, except that she probably didn't have a beard. . Well, you never knew. Some women had facial hair, after all. Vida felt very sorry for those women, although some of them it was their own fault for pumping themselves full of testosterone to become better bodybuilders. Oh well, each to their own!
"That's it," she said. She was a bit nervous when Yasuo said he didn't know very much medical stuff, but at least he had the magic. If he had the magic, then the medical stuff came second. . Uh, hopefully, at least. Oh well, she'd tell him if it hurt. Hopefully, he wouldn't end up messing up her bones even more.
Vida really didn't want to end up with some god-awful cast or plaster. She'd been given hope, dammit, and she didn't want to lose it!

“Yeah, he is!” said Yasuo brightly.
He didn’t know that he would be busting the old woman image in Vida’s head. Yasuo thought that Marian was a bit intimidating, but didn’t have his name before hand to make a random judgment about it. If she said what she was thinking, he’d probably laugh and mention how he was grumpy, but not old.
He finished up with her leg. He had a bit of sweat appearing on his forehead, this was hard work. He shouldn’t mess anything up, so long as the bones were set. It was just a matter of mending them.
“I’m going to do your ribs now, okay?” he said, tentatively putting his hands on her cast, “Which side and how far up? The left?”
As long as his hands were directly over the injury, he shouldn’t waste too much energy. He was already feeling like he’d run several miles.

Oh. He. Okay, so it was back to the image of the old guy with a beard who was grumpy and eccentric. He probably collected cow toys or something, too, and had a pet owl and a gnarled walking stick. Marian was a weird name for a guy, so he must have been really old. After all, men used to have girly names back in the olden days sometimes.
"Uhm, right here," Vida said, moving Yasuo's hands over to where her ribs felt broken. It was on the left, and a little high up, but she figured moving his hands to the exact spot might be a bit better and more accurate. She noticed that he looked tired, too. So magic made people tired, huh?
Well, then Vida was glad she was learning how to control her magic. It meant that she wouldn't exhaust herself on accident and without realizing what she was doing.

That was a bit farther up than Yasuo thought it was. He turned a bit pink, but tried to focus on the job at hand, rather than Vida’s boobs! They were under thick plaster anyway, but still! He shut his eyes so he could concentrate and his palms started glowing again. Her ribs took a bit longer because he wanted to make sure all of them were completely fine. When he finished, he stepped back and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. He was breathing heavily, like he was exercising.
“Haha, sorry,” he said between breaths, “This is a big job, it takes a lot of effort. Gimme a second.”
He got his breathing under control and moved over to the sink for a drink of water, “Want some water?”
He brought her over a cup anyway and set it down on the table next to her. He put his hands on the cast and finished up. Once he was finished, he felt a bit dizzy.
“All done!” he said, his voice a bit woozy.

Vida nodded, and drank the water. It felt really good, the cool liquid going down her dry throat. She hadn't realized how thirsty she was until now. She suddenly felt exhausted as well. Getting into a car wreck was more tiring than it sounded.
"Can I take the casts off, now?" she asked, sitting up. It didn't hurt, so she figured that Yasuo had done a good job healing her. "Oh, and thank you! It doesn't hurt anymore," she quickly added.
Vida laughed and raised her eyebrows. "Maybe you should get some water, too," she said. She looked around the room. "What did Dago do with my clothes? This hospital gown is really uncomfortable." That, and it was so ugly. It wasn't flattering on anyone at all! Really, couldn't they make hospital gowns that at least looked good and didn't make you look like some invalid or something? How frustrating. Vida never wanted to go to a hospital again.

“Uhm, I think they have to be cut off,” he said, after taking a deep breath, “I don’t know how to do that.”
He nodded and got himself some water, too. He felt dizzy still and really tired. That was hard work! Yasuo noticed the mismatching wheelchair that had a pile of clothes on it. He picked up the pile and brought it over.
“These?” he asked.
Dago walked back to the room, “Did you finish up?” he asked Yasuo.
“Yeah, all done!” he said, still breathless.
“Great, we can take the casts off,” he said, moving over to Vida’s bed, “Want me to tear them off or cut them off?”
He wasn’t sure if the Infirmary had the tools for that, but he could look around. He knew what it looked like, anyway. Ripping them off would be faster, but messier.

Vida frowned when Yasuo mentioned that they had to be cut off. Oh well, she could deal with that, except that Yasuo didn't know how to. . Oh, great. Oh well, Dago was a doctor, right? So he would know how to, hopefully. Now she just had to wait for him to get back.
"Yeah, those!" Vida said when Yasuo brought her clothing over. Her bracelets were there, as was all the rest of her jewelry and her clothing. That was good! Nothing had broken during the crash. The only things she'd lost were the bracelets Dago had torn off of her. She was sad about them, but oh well. The new shoes and bag would cheer her up!
"You can rip them off," Vida said, sliding her gown off. She knew that Dago was strong enough to rip them off, due to his magical super strength. Well, she thought it was magical- She didn't know it was really demonic. Anyway, ripping them off seemed easier.
