Dante headed to wards his tent looking rather pleased with himself, he had achieved what he had set out to do and now he could relax for a little while..... but no he couldn't, there was still something on his mind. This whole soul transfer thing had to be looked into, it knew it had changed him and only some of the changes were clear. He paused outside his tent for a moment, he had a choice to make now.
He could decide to do the research alone then act on his findings, or he could talk to Piper about it.... wait, this was odd, he would never usually think to consult anyone else so why now. He shook his head and entered the tent, he was going to have to talk to Piper about this. For some odd reason his heart was racing... what the hell was wrong with him all of a sudden?

Piper had been feeling a bit off-put by the lack of attention she’d been getting. She knew Dante had several other things he had to attend to, most of all the people who were sneaking around their tent while they were busy. She nearly lit up when she saw it was Dante coming through the tent flap and not someone else. She untangled herself from her hiding place to get up to greet him.
She threw her arms around his neck and gave him a peck on his neck, immediately noticing his heart rate was kind of high. It wasn’t very fast, like he’d been fighting, nor was he really covered in enough blood. It was kind of irregular like he was nervous.
“Something wrong, boss?” she asked her eyes full of concern.
She had noticed changes, too, but had finally just chalked it up to the influx of souls she’d been eating. She liked how she was feeling, it made her feel warm.

Dante smiled as Piper swung her arms around him, he placed his hands on her hips, his favorite spot. He looked down at her, why the hell was he so damn nervous... he was barely able to recognize the emotion, it had been such a long time since he was nervous about anything.
"Not so much wrong Piper..." he said uncertainly, he was getting angry at himself now, 'SPIT IT OUT MAN!' his mind screamed. This was more difficult than he had thought it would be. He let out a sigh before slowly stepping back.
"Ive been thing about when I transferred that soul to you in the forest that night" he said as he looked her in her eyes, "It may have had some.... unexpected side effects". He wasn't sure how or why, but he knew he had changed for certain, it was just a matter of research before he found out.

Piper couldn’t help but smile when his hands went straight for her hips, even if she was concerned for him. She immediately frowned again as he seemed to be having issues telling her what was going on. Did something happen with those stupid kids? She hadn’t a clue, but she hoped not; she was pretty sure he could take them both any day.
“Side effects?” she asked, “Like… sneezing and dry mouth?”
She was trying to joke, and cracked a smile. She did know what he meant, it had affected her more than it had him; she was sure. She hadn’t ever wanted to eat anything but souls before, or sleep anymore than was necessary. As a succubus it wasn’t necessary to sleep anyway. She had desires and suddenly she felt this horrible thing called dread and had shiny hopes and she dreamed now… It was all pretty frightening.

Dante smiled and hung his head before looking back up at her, "No my dear.... things like..." he paused for a moment, things like what... that ideas that came to mind seemed to startle him. God damn that soul transfer, why did it have to mess with his head.
"Forget i said anything" he said as he leaned in and kissed her, he would have went into detail about what he thought he was feeling but it would involve using 'that' word. The very concept of it was idiotic, she was a succubus and he was a soul collector.
Dante may have been silent but his head was in overdrive, what if he started to develop a conscience.... and guilt. That would really set him back, a soul collector who felt guilty, if that was the case he would have to consult Lawrence. That wasn't such a bad idea, Lawrence was pretty much an expert on souls considering his line of work.

So much for joking. He didn’t look much for a laugh right now anyway. She put on a serious face again. She wanted to know if those brats actually found out anything or not, but he didn’t look like he wanted to talk much, he looked kind of sad, actually.
“Did you find out what they knew?” she asked, knowing she could read his memories without his knowledge.
She preferred to ask, it was easier to explain how she knew things. Besides, it meant he was willing to tell her things, instead of her forcing her way through his mind.
If they knew anything, they would have to figure out a way to make them go away or silence them permanently. From what she saw of the both of them, the latter would be the more difficult It would be easier to just kill them both… or maybe… to frame one for killing the other, or something. Her mind was working quickly as she thought of ways.

Dante stepped away from piper and took of his coat, he took off his holster and tossed it onto the table before turning back to her, "Camille seems to know nothing.... but she could have been lying, as for Sergio" he paused for a moment as he recalled the damage he had done to the young man, "Well I was too busy smashing his face in to ask, but suffice to say he wont be snooping around for awhile".
Dante had overlooked the fact that he was supposed to question Sergio, not just beat him up. He got carried away but at least now Sergio would know that Dante wasn't going to play games. He kicked off his boots and unbuttoned his waistcoat then headed over to the basin in the corner of the tent. He splashed some cold water on his face and dried himself with a towel, "I'm sorry for leaving you alone for so long" he said as he approached Piper and once again placed his hands on her hips.

Piper frowned a bit, trying to think of what that meant. If Sergio had been doing some extra snooping, that might mean he suspects something…
“That’s a tough call,” she mused, “How badly was he smashed in?”
The more smashed, the better, she thought. He wouldn’t stick his nose around here much anymore. She knew he’d been eluding Dante for a few days now, maybe longer. Little rat kind of had it coming. She had heard some banging and clattering when Dante had found him, she figured that must have been Sergio lurking around when she heard all the commotion.
“It’s alright,” she said, giving him a kiss, “Business is business, isn’t it?”
The longer they could stay like this, the better, she figured. There was a cushy life here, they didn’t have to find food or worry about anyone finding them… just her. She realized she was part of the problem, but wasn’t holding the entire blame. She wouldn’t have felt guilty for it anyway, it’s not like he asked her to leave.

Dante smiled, "Broken and bloody face.... maybe a broken rib" he said in a happy tone, he pulled Piper a little closer to him. He kissed her back when she leaned in to kiss him, he did have to admit it was pretty good here but sooner or later they would have to leave.
He smiled warmly at her, "Yeah but i don't consider you to be business...." he said with a sly smile and a wink. He did feel bad for leaving her alone though, however this was also another new feeling so he wasn't too sure about it, he had never missed anyone before... at least he couldn't remember if he ever did. If he could figure out a way for her to be able to wonder around and not arouse suspicion maybe she wouldn't feel so bad when he had to leave her to deal with business.

Piper laughed, “Good! He’ll shut up awhile then, right?” she asked, with a grin.
She threw her arms around his neck when he said she wasn’t ‘business’ and laughed again, “You better not, or I’m not doing my job right.”
There was a loud clatter all of a sudden from the supply tent next to the one they were occupying. Piper’s eyes grew wide and she immediately disentangled herself from Dante to go to her hiding spot. It could be someone trying to investigate again. Sergio had been spying from that very tent, after all! She peeked over the bed with wide eyes, keeping her mouth shut. She knew it was a really bad idea to talk right now, since that was what got them into trouble the first time Camille was snooping around.
There was another loud clatter, it sounded like someone tripping over swords and boxes. She gritted her teeth, wondering if she should shift and look for the culprit or if Dante would.
