Lilith looked at Natalie pleadingly, “I know, I know, I’m sorry, but this is how it has to be.”
This way, they all had a chance of surviving and potentially being content in the future. Lilith knew that Natalie could see that.
Dago saw Natalie look up at him for something. He wasn’t entirely sure what to say either. He didn’t want Lilith to end up in some dingy box like Beelzebub had either.
“We’ll be able to see her,” Dago offered, “That’s how it was with that Beelzebub guy.”
Lilith shook her head when Natalie said she’d get her out, “Don’t worry about it for now, just try to make something better around here. Now, make it look good, okay?”
The more they convinced everyone that Lilith and Natalie weren’t connected, the better. Everyone knew they were, but it could be perceived as a ploy for power on Natalie’s part. Backstabbing wasn’t uncommon in Hell, after all.

Natalie sighed. She didn't want to do this really didn't want to do this, not to Lilith, not to the woman who had saved her from an eternity being Mammon's slave. . But still, she had to, for all their sakes. She had a grimace on her face, but she knew she'd have to drop that soon when they got to wherever they were going. Natalie really hoped it wasn't to the palace of the King of Hell himself. Her last encounter with him hadn't been so great.
Natalie motioned to Dago to grab Lilith's over arm. If anything, they had to act like the demons they were, but power hungry backstabbing demons. "Where do we take you?" she asked Lilith, frowning. Natalie didn't want to have to see any of the Lords of Sin, and especially not the King of Hell, but she knew it would probably be better for Lilith if they had to take her to the latter's castle.

“Just outside,” Lilith said, “They should be here soon enough.”
Dago stepped over and grabbed Lilith’s upper arm. He didn’t relish this either; he wasn’t a backstabbing, power-hungry demon any more than Natalie was, less so, in fact. They led her right out of the front door, where there was one irate looking Leviathan standing there with his privateer had in his hands.
“Where is Lucifer?” he demanded, “I demand to see the King of Pride!”
He of course, only knew something was wrong, not exactly what it was. If he did know, he would realize that he was already speaking to the King of Pride. The Lords of Sin were strange in the sense that their perceived power was something they could physically sense and there was an abrupt change in that. The others weren’t in sight, but it wouldn’t be long.

Natalie took a deep breath before altering her expression. She had a good poker face, at least, and she forced herself to wear an expression of personal satisfaction- Something she imagined Lucifer himself wore quite often. She marched Lilith outside with Dago, not feeling satisfied with the events of that day at all, but forcing herself to walk with a stride even though she wanted to vomit.
Natalie narrowed her eyes when she saw Leviathan. Oh, great. Well, she thought, there were worse people in Hell she could leave Lilith with, and at least it wasn't Mammon. "You're speaking to her," Natalie said haughtily. "Lucifer's dead, although we caught the murderer." She pushed Lilith forward, trying not to be too rough but having to be in order to make the facade work and not break.
"There she is," Natalie finished. She wasn't aware that the rest of the Lords of Sin were going to show up, otherwise she'd really be feeling sick.

Leviathan narrowed his eyes at Natalie when she said she was the King of Pride. She couldn’t possibly…
“Dead?” Leviathan said in an undignified squeak, “That isn’t possible, don’t tell lies you stupid…”
“He was in his lion form. I killed him, gutted him like a fish. Have you ever seen him as a lion, Leviathan?” Lilith asked defiantly.
Leviathan had not ever seen him as a lion and this threw him into a jealous rage, “You bitch. You know what’s in store for you now!”
Amon appeared as a dog next to Leviathan, “Lucifer has died then.”
“It appears so. Finally, that spoiled bastard,” said a lounging black cat that was supposed to be Belphegor.
“He still owed me a favor,” Asmodai said crossly, in his human, but still horned form.
There was a faint buzzing in the air, but Beelzebub didn’t say anything.
“Ahh, Natalie, how lovely to see you,” Mammon said immediately after appearing, “It appears you think we’re colleagues now.”
“Take me to the Lord of Hell and get it over with,” Lilith said in a snarl.
She really was just trying to get Mammon the hell away from Natalie, but she couldn’t exactly say that…

"I'm not lying," Natalie said coolly. "You can remain deluded if you want to, though- It's not like all of Hell doesn't know about your creepy infatuation with him." Of course, she was lying, but it wasn't like Natalie was going to let Leviathan know that. That would just be stupid and suicidal.
She narrowed her eyes when Mammon appeared. Oh, great. He just had to show up, didn't he? Mammon was the last person she wanted to be colleagues with, of course. Still, though, she had a role she had to fill. "Lucifer's dead," Natalie repeated. "And I've taken his place as the Lord of Pride. Now then, don't you have a murderer to turn in?" she asked, gesturing towards Lilith.
Truthfully, Natalie was scared as hell. She hated Mammon, hated every bit of him with all her soul. She couldn't let that show through, though, she had to act like the King of Pride.

“How dare you!” Leviathan scoffed.
“Unwanted company, mmm?” Mammon drawled, “Either way, you’re right. The longer we wait around, the more we’re in question.”
Mammon gladly took Lilith’s arm from Natalie with a saccharine smile and disappeared with her. All of the other Lords of Sin gave Natalie and Dago varying degress of expressions of disgust and disdain, but followed Mammon out. Lastly went Leviathan who looked like he was still trying to think of something nasty to say. He eventually disappeared in a pillar of water without saying anything at all.
Dago pressed the heel of his hand to his forehead before turning to Natalie, “Hey, are you alright?”
He had been scared shitless, too, but figured he was doing a pretty damn good job by keeping his mouth shut. Any one of those assholes could have run them through without a thought, but now they were gone, thankfully.

Once Leviathan left, Natalie breathed a sigh of relief. She looked down at her hands and realized she was shaking. Hopefully, that hadn't happened while the Lords of Sin were around. She closed her eyes for a second and tried to wait for her heart to stop pounding in her chest like it was going to explode. Dago pulled her out of that brief moment of relaxation, though.
She looked over at him, not bothering with her poker face anymore now that the Lords of Sin were gone. She looked tired and sad. "I'll be alright," she said, before regaining her composure and former demeanor. "We're going back inside now. We have a lot of work to get done." With that, she turned around, and began walking back inside the Pride Castle. She could cry later, but right now, she had to free Lilith, and also make the sacrifice worth it.
