Dago sneered a bit as the portal closed off from the Library. How lovely Selene acted toward him. He realized that not many people liked him, or really anyone. He didn’t care much. He looked around, it was nighttime in a dark forest. He sighed, rolling his eyes at Selene’s selective incapability. What was the point in making his job even harder? He pulled his messenger back further up his shoulder and began walking.
The leaved crunched under his feet and he swore he could hear rustling from behind a tree. Fuck, this sort of setting made him nervous, his visibility was low and the crunching leaves under his feet threw off his hearing. He had to rely on much… weaker senses, like smell and his rather pathetic sixth sense.
God, what a fucking creepy-ass forest, who in their right mind set up a base here? Dago shivered a bit, creeped out severely.

The red lady was restless. Sure, being around the Seidhrfolk calmed her down a bit- After all, they were fighting for her. How sweet! But she still needed to find Tobey. She had thought this would be the best place to begin, although perhaps she was a bit biased. She'd always liked the Seidhrfolk. Although when she liked something, it wasn't necessarily good for the object of her affection.
And it looked like someone was walking. Hmm. Maybe it was Tobey, although she doubted it. Tobey wouldn't come here for help. But this person could prove invaluable in her search. She stepped out of where she was and into the path of whoever was walking. "Who are you?" she asked, trying to act like a Seidhrfolk would. It wasn't very hard for her; after all, she had the personality to go with it. She kept the grin on her face, though. It helped.

“Fuck!” cried Dago, freaked out by the sudden person occupying his walking space.
He skidded to a halt, even though he wasn’t walking terribly fast. He immediately held up his hands in surrender.
“Shit, you scared me, lady!” he cried, letting himself breath finally, “Are you part of the camp here? I have a message from the Order. My name is Dago Vivar, Dimitri sent me, there’s something big going on.”
He didn’t figure anyone would be around here but the Seidhrfolk, so he didn’t worry about censoring his language. Rumors would fly around camp like the flies did anyway. He figured the bigger deal he made of it; the more likely he’d get the message to Conall faster and get the hell out.
Shit, this lady didn’t look like a fucking barbarian. She was dressed pretty outlandishly, but not with leather and furs like he expected from the Seidhrfolk. She was rather hot, actually, and looked a bit dangerous, which he liked. He knew the Seidhrfolk took in lots of types, so he didn’t think it odd.

Her eyes widened. "A mage, huh?" she asked, her grin widening. Oh, perfect. And from the Order of Eradicto Pravus, no less! Just who she wanted to see. She'd already forgotten his name, despite him just saying it, although he had mentioned Dimitri. She brightened up. Perfect. Dimitri would be an excellent resource.
"What's the message?" she asked. He might tell her. He might not. Either way, she'd find out eventually. He seemed kind of wimpy, after all, he had put his hands up automatically instead of trying to use magic on her. So this would be interesting. In any case, she had to figure out something, and this guy, whoever he was, knew the answer to her problem.
Too bad for him.
"If it's something big, you should say it now. For the good of the factions." Ah, yes, good of the factions, whatever that meant. She didn't really care. They all fought for her, so it didn't matter.

Dago was suddenly much more creeped out by this lady’s smile. She seemed like she knew something he didn’t and he frankly didn’t want anything to do with her all of a sudden. He thought before he answered… trying to figure out if he should just tell her what he knew or try to evade the questions.
“I don’t know the message, he gave me an envelope,” he said, but didn’t show her said envelope.
“I don’t really know what it said either, he kept it pretty secret. He didn’t tell me much of anything really, just made it sound like a big deal,” he admitted, which was true.
He could have tried to tell her what he thought was going on, but he didn’t think it was safe all of a sudden. She was looking at him like a shark would look at a fish, and not even in a good way that he could get into. Besides, the factions didn't work together typically at all, unless it was huge. He was sure this should go straight to the leader.

"Oh, really?" the woman asked, pouting. "Well, that's too bad, then. I was really hoping it would be easier." She sighed, exasperated. "But no, you mages always have to do things the hard way, don't you?" She suddenly looked up and her creepy grin returned. "Of course, that's why you're here."
Well, there was no turning back now, but it wasn't as though she had set all of her cards on the table. She'd have to act now; if she didn't, then this guy would, and mages were tricky bastards. Always were.
Hell, she'd swear her still-living colleague had been a mage once. Or, rather, she would have, if she hadn't seen what had happened to him. Tobey had it so easy. He shouldn't have been complaining or whining or trying to run.
Because there was no running. You couldn't hide. It'd reach you eventually, and you would have to give in.
The woman threw a punch at Dago's face. It seemed like the best thing to do. Besides, he looked pretty wimpy. Just like Tobey!

“Easier? What the fuc—“she suddenly punched him and he took it right across the cheekbone.
He stumbled backwards, loosing his balance and falling into the leaves. He looked up at the red haired woman in complete shock. He knew that the Seidhrfolk were really aggressive, but he didn’t even fucking lie this time!
“Shit lady! What the fuck is wrong with you!” he shouted, he was already starting to feel his cheek swell up.
That lady hit pretty damn hard for a girl. Who the hell was she? Dago realized his initial danger instinct was right and he needed to get the fuck out of there. He scrambled to his feet and took off running in the direction his portal opened. Right now his pride wasn’t what mattered, it was the message.
He dashed through the trees trying to formulate a plan. This chick was pretty hardcore, he was pretty sure he couldn’t take her in a fistfight. He wasn’t a very capable magic user either, how in the hell did he get stuck with the hard job!

"There's nothing wrong with me," she said innocently. "I'm perfectly normal." It was funny how many people didn't know who she was, she thought. She considered herself rather famous. Almost everyone in the world knew who she was, and everyone in the world was affected by her.
She ran after the mage, quickly catching up with him effortlessly. "You can't run, you know," she shouted after him cheerfully. "Or hide. You could try both, of course, but they'd fail." She shrugged. "You could just stop right now and work with me, you know," she offered. "Then I wouldn't have to beat you up. Fun for me, I know, but not so fun for you. I'm being so nice lately!" And she was. But it was easier to be nice right now, and she'd probably get into less trouble later. If she got into any trouble at all, of course. This was serious business, and she really did need to find Tobey. After all, they had sent her for a reason.

Dago could hear the woman catching up to him rather quickly. He cursed the day he didn’t join track team in high school, he might actually make it out of this situation alive if he had. He tried to remember something, some spell that might help him.
“Fuck if I’ll help you, lady!” Dago said between gasping breaths, “You can beat me up if you can fucking catch me! Duplo!”
Suddenly there was a flash and three Dagos were running through the forest. They all looked nearly the exact same, running at the same pace and everything. All three of them swore as War caught up to them even more.
Stupid defensive shit like this was about the only thing he was really good at. His grandmother, who taught him magic, was a pacifist. That was not helpful right now, but at least if he managed to escape, he would still get the message out. He’d have one fucking crazy redhead to look out for, but the mission would be accomplished.

The slasher smile on her face widened. "Looks like you're funner than I thought," she murmured. She looked over the three of them, trying to figure out which one was real. Hmm. They were all running in a straight line, which meant that this guy obviously didn't know much about fighting. As she ran by a tree, she grabbed a heavy looking branch and snapped it off.
This was a tricky tactic and probably wasn't the smartest one ever, and if she was wrong in her assumption she would also have on her hands a very dead mage. Of course, if he was that stupid, then she was probably helping the gene pool by getting rid of him.
She grabbed the claymore off of her back and threw it at the middle one's chest. It would probably land in his abdomen if it hit correctly. She then threw the heavy branch where it would hit the one on the right's head if it landed correctly. Finally, she quickly accelerated and jumped, aiming to tackle the last one.
This was funner than she had thought.
