Lilith sensed Renee’s doubt of her abilities and her potential to do what was necessary. Lilith was very protective of what was hers. She wasn’t afraid to use force, physical or political, when necessary. She’d clawed her way here from being a concubine of the Lord of hell himself, she wasn’t about to be gentle unless she honestly wanted to be.
“I don’t know everything, only the things that are privy to anyone down here,” she explained, “They have most mortals on file, especially ones that already have their mortal sin manifested quite strongly.”
She knew Renee was probably going to be upset that she was assuming something about her, but Lilith didn’t make the rules on such matters. Someone like Lucifer kept very close tabs on what was his and what was going to be his. It was how he kept his niche of hell running smoothly, so it wasn’t hard to find the information.

Renee thought about this, trying to decide how much Lilith likely knew. Then, she decided that however much she knew, she already knew, so worrying over how much it was would be silly. Obviously, whatever amount she knew, she didn't particularly mind. Logically, this led Renee to believe Lilith probably didn't know quite as much about her as she thought she did. After all, particularly in the world she was familiar with, most people would at the very least tend to shy away from people who they knew had little to no problem murdering.
"I, um... ok," she replied. "Not to be like a kid or anything, but how close are we?" The conversation was heading in a direction she was not particularly fond of, and she found it somewhat uncomfortable. Honestly, given that she wasn't used to this much conversation, just about anything felt at least 'somewhat uncomfortable,' so she wished she would get there already. She had no idea what she was going to see there, but she doubted it would be anything that would really bother her; she was not a person who was easily disturbed, after all.

Lilith hid a knowing smile behind her hand. She knew she was making Renee uncomfortable, but she kind of wanted to throw the girl out of her comfort zone for today. Lilith knew more about Renee that Renee allowed herself to believe, but then again, she wasn’t in that world were people shunned and punished the deeds Lilith knew Renee had and would continue to commit. Renee hadn’t met any of the Lords of Sin, thankfully for her. She’d simply met Cain, who was one of those people who had no trouble killing.
“Not far,” she said, looking over the horizon, “Only a few more minutes now.”
The Terrasque had slowed down slightly, as if he had heard what Lilith had said. The beast didn’t have a particularly good sense of direction, but Lilith was silently directing it with simple motions like a pat on the horns.

Lilith was definitely succeeding in her goal, though Renee would be rather unhappy if she discovered it was intentional. She was new to this world and, in a strange way, rather naive about it still. Of course, she was still fearless as ever. She could recall having met Cain, and even knowing what she did now, she still would have fought him had she had the chance.
"Ok," she replied simply. She then added, "So, um... why exactly are we going there, anyway? Doesn't exactly sound like a great picnic spot." She tried to imagine people attempting a picnic in her mental image of purgatory. Wouldn't they end up burning to crisps? Even if the dead people were somehow immune to catching on fire, what about the basket? And since she wasn't dead, what about her? "Is it possible for me to catch on fire?" she asked on a seemingly unrelated note.
