Yasuo cruised down the hallways of the Library, looking around for Hakan. He’d already stormed his room and hadn’t found him there, so he was looking around in all of the major landmarks in the Library. He wasn’t in the Infirmary, Yasuo had already looked there. He’d even gotten up the courage to see if he was in Marian’s office.
He was so tall, how could Yasuo have lost him? Maybe he wasn’t even in the building; that would suck! He had something really important to ask him! A few years ago, Haru and him had started listening to this new Italian pop singer and they finally got tickets to go see her concert! Now that Haru was gone, Yasuo was left with two will-call tickets and no one to go with. Obviously, Mischa was too grumpy to have fun and he hadn’t seen Juliette in awhile. Hakan was a better choice anyway, he knew how to have fun and they were already friends.

Hakan was actually sitting in the main library, typing up his latest article on his laptop computer. It was something about Turkey and the EU, and how crazy people in the German government were throwing a hissy fit about Turkey joining, so Turkey joining was being delayed. He finally finished it, and sent it off to the editor.
Hakan didn't really like pop music very much; he found it too. . Manufactured-sounding. He preferred Turkish rap music and metal. They were way better, and less. . Unoriginal. He'd say less mainstream, but then he would be worried about sounding like a hipster or something. God knew he wasn't a hipster, anything but that.
He didn't really think he was that tall. Six feet wasn't too giant, really! There were people out there way taller than him, like that American basketball player who was over seven feet! The Hulk was way taller than Hakan, too!

Yasuo was at the top of the stairs when he spotted Hakan in the main Library. He squeaked and hopped on the banister, sliding most of the way down. He almost fell at the bottom, but he caught himself before he did a face plant. He dashed over to the couch Hakan was sitting at and vaulted over it, landing on the cushion next to him.
“Hakan!” he exclaimed, “I’ve been looking all over for you!”
Yasuo grabbed Hakan’s shoulder and his eyes were flashing in an excitable way. He didn’t have many people to play tag or hide-and-go-seek with anymore, so this was about the most fun he’d had in a bit.
Hakan was taller than most people in the Order right now. He wasn’t aware of anyone new that was taller, anyway! Yasuo would have agreed, though. The Hulk was MUCH taller than Hakan. More green, too.

Hakan looked up from his laptop to see Yasuo standing there grinning like a five-year-old who had just been given a bag of candy. He grinned back. Well, Yasuo was always a good person to see! He was fun, at least. He didn't mind Mischa or Juliette or any of the other Chao Xi members and liked them, but with Yasuo and Haru he'd always been able to talk about comic books or play tag with them!
"What's up?" Hakan asked, turning his laptop off and closing it. He wasn't expecting to be invited to a concert or anything, he figured Yasuo wanted to play spies or something. He figured Yasuo must miss Haru a lot. Hakan missed Haru and Viktoria, too- After all, Viktoria had been his partner for a long time. But Hakan figured that they were having a good time together at the Seidhrfolk, or at least he hoped that they were.

Playing spies might have been a great idea, but Yasuo had more important things to talk about. Tag and spies could wait until after he’d made sure Haru’s ticket was going to be used and that Yasuo would have a good time at the concert he wanted to go to!
“Haru and I bought tickets to go to a concert, but now he can’t obviously go,” he explained, managing to keep from yelling, “Would you come with me?”
He put on a faux-pout and puppy dog eyes, “It’s for Adela, she’s from Italy. It’ll be fun, I swear! Pleaaaase!”
Yasuo hoped that Haru and Tori were having a good time in the Seidhrfolk, too. He had this image of them that was far stuffier than Haru was and Yasuo could only hope that his brother didn’t end up stuffy and boring like he thought of most of the Seidhrfolk.

Hakan had no idea who Adela was or even if he'd like her music, but he figured he might as well go with Yasuo anyway, even if he loathed her music. After all, Yasuo didn't have anyone to go with now, and the thought of leaving Yasuo alone in Sicilly was a little worrying, if only because he might get lost or something. Then again, Hakan wasn't very good with directions either, so they might both get lost anyway. . But at least they'd get lost with someone else, right?
"Alright, alright, I'll go with you," Hakan said. "When is it?" He didn't really have to go into work anytime- He emailed the articles he had to write- And the only other thing was training, but Marian had a lot of students on his hands anyway and was focusing more on the new mages than on the former Chao Xi. It was understandable- The Chao Xi had a better idea of what they were doing.

“You will! Yes!” Yasuo exclaimed, tightly hugging Hakan around the neck.
He immediately let go, for fear of choking his friend, but he was still really excited! He bounced up and down in his seat for a second before he realized that Hakan had asked a question.
“Oh… uh… It’s tomorrow night,” he said a bit sheepishly, “Is that okay?”
He realized he should have told him what time the concert was before he assumed that Hakan was going to be alright going. He didn’t know what Hakan had to do during the day; Yasuo was busy learning all the ropes in the Infirmary during the ‘waking hours’ of the Order. It was possible that Hakan had a really long list of things to do during the day. Yasuo couldn’t fathom what it might be, though. Maybe he did chores, but Hakan ditched on his chores as much as Yasuo did when they were in the Chao Xi.

Hakan laughed as Yasuo hugged him. "Sure," he said. "Why not? It'll be nice to go somewhere. I haven't ever been to Italy before." He'd been to Switzerland, though, and they spoke some Italian in Switzerland! He didn't speak Italian, though. He'd had to learn it in gymnasium, his high school, but he didn't recall anything about it. Same with French. Oh well. It wasn't like he went out of German speaking countries very often, anyway.
"Tomorrow night?" Hakan repeated. Wow, that was pretty soon. . Oh well, it wasn't like he didn't have anything better to do. "Sure, that's fine!" he said. Again, he really had nothing better to do. Maybe he could read up on magic. . But that was boring compared to going to a concert! Even though he didn't really know how Adela sounded. Oh well. Hopefully she was good, and didn't lip synch or anything stupid like that.

“Oh good!” said Yasuo, breathing a sigh of relief, “I should have mentioned it sooner, sorry!”
Yasuo broke into a wide smile when Hakan said he hadn’t been to Italy before, ‘Neither have I, so we’ll have to eat spaghetti or something when we get there!”
Yasuo didn’t know any Italian either, but he knew a couple of neat tricks that Haru had taught him so they could get by without much trouble in a country they didn’t speak the language.
“Good, it’s a date!” Yasuo said happily, “I have to go, but I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Yasuo bounced up out of the seat cushion and hurried off to figure out what he would wear to the concert. He didn’t have a lot of things anymore, but he could figure something out. He’d probably have to go looking like a boy, though, which was a little depressing to him.
