Natalie was running around as fast as she could, directing demons here and there. She had to prepare before the Lords of Sin arrived. She couldn't be caught unawares, not before her powers as the King of Pride kicked in. She'd had the front doors barricaded as much as possible, and the windows were being barricaded as well. She was looking for someone she knew could handle a job she had, but she didn't really trust any of Lucifer's old demons. Not with how fast they had signed over their loyalty.
Well. There was Dago, although this was a very dangerous job and he was too important to lose. Still, though, he was the only person she saw fit to do it. . Natalie sighed. Well, any investment had risk, she thought. Now she just had to find him. She ordered all of the doors leading to the rooftops barricaded- All but one. Dago had to get up and down somehow.

Dago wasn't so much an idiot to have left the Pride Castle when Natalie needed him around. If anything, he was going to be a lot more trustworthy than random Morning Star Child #158 and he knew that Lilith meant a lot to her, even if she was trying to put on her game face. Well, even if Natalie wasn’t looking for emotional support, he was willing to give it.
He was helping barricade the windows near the kitchen of the Pride Castle. He found a weird entrance to some tunnels that he immediately had caved in near there, too, so he figured they’d see some sort of activity in that direction. If anyone knew about it, they didn’t want to get surprised. They had already going through one battle in less than twenty four hours, but now they at least had a hell of a lot more resources and manpower.

Natalie finally found Dago while running by the kitchens. Good, he was helping barricade, thank goodness. "Dago!" she called, gesturing him over and running up to him. "Good, I'm glad I found you," she said, examining the barricades on the windows. Hopefully they would be enough to at least deter the Lords of Sin from attacking. She was, after all, showing initiative.
The thing that bugged her the most was that Mammon had been the one to inform her of this little 'tradition.'
"I need you to go on the rooftop and look for anything flying in the skies. Try to intimidate whatever is there if you can. . But if you can't, then run back down and report to me," Natalie told him. She couldn't just let Dago blip out of existence. He'd done too much to help her now and he would be more than useful in the future.
"Make sure the door behind you gets barricaded if you must do that, though," she quickly added.

Dago looked up when his name was called and found it was Natalie and jogged over to her, dropping the tools he’d been holding, “Hey, yeah, I’m here. What’s up?”
He didn’t know why they were doing this, other than Natalie said they were going to be attacked again. He knew Natalie knew best, but he didn’t know Mammon was the one to have told her what was up. Dago listened carefully to what Natalie wanted from him. It sounded simple enough, he could only think of a few kinds of demons that could fly and fewer that were a threat. Most were small enough that he could kill them without much of a thought; little did he know that Beelzebub wasn’t going to show up.
“Got it, want me to go now?” he asked, figuring he’d be able to take some kind of metal bar or something that he could bend over the handles of the door to make it impossible to pass.

Natalie wasn't about to tell Dago that Mammon had given her a surprise "congratulatory" visit. She was admittedly warming up to him a bit, but she knew Dago didn't need to know that. In fact, nobody needed to know how Mammon had shown up and told the King of Pride herself that he would treat her like property and wouldn't accept her as the King of Pride. That just wouldn't be good for her reputation, not at all. She needed the Pride demons to think she was a good, strong leader and could kill them in the blink of an eye.
It was better to be feared than loved. There was no love in Hell, anyway, so it didn't matter.
Natalie nodded quickly. "Yes, go now," she ordered. She needed him to get over there and fast. . She didn't want Beelzebub or anyone else getting in. Oh. Beelzebub. Well, she hadn't seen any flies around the Pride Castle, which was good. . Still, though, she'd have to keep an eye out.

Dago wasn’t a pride demon and he’d probably be pretty sympathetic toward anyone who was harassed by those assholes, considering what he’d seen. There was quite a lot of protecting Natalie’s image going on ever since she took over. He really didn’t need to know, just listen and he was alright doing that. It was a little frustrating, but not being the leader was a good enough tradeoff for Dago at least.
“Alright, I’ll go,” he said, heading toward one of the several flights of stairs in the Pride Castle.
The rest of the Pride demons worked steadily to blockade the Pride Castle. They weren’t any more interested in dying than Natalie or Dago were, so they didn’t mind doing this at least. Once they were finished, they gathered in the center of the castle: the throne room. Things were deadly quiet for a little while and everyone was starting to feel a bit anxious.

Natalie breathed a sigh of relief. That was good. She had known Dago would do it, though; after all, he had been following all other orders given to him. Well, that was one good thing about Dago, he was rather reliable. It was nice to know she had someone who she could almost trust here in the Pride Castle.
Still, though. She missed Lilith. It was this feeling in her chest, like something was missing, and it made her nauseous, almost. Natalie didn't like it, not at all.
Natalie strolled into the throne room like she owned the place- Because she did, no matter what Mammon thought. She sat down on the throne and rested her elbow on the armrest and rested her chin on her fist, and sat there, waiting for something to happen. That was really all she could do, wait. She didn't address the crowd of Pride demons, she just sat there quietly, looking almost bored.

After a moment, there was some rumbling and there was a thudding knock on the front door of the Pride Castle. No one made a move to go and answer it in the throne room obviously and the settings on it were obviously changed. There was some more thudding which gradually got louder and louder.
One of the Pride demons looked up at her with some expectancy, “What do we do, your Kingship?”
They didn’t realize that they should just sit and wait and hope whoever it was would go away. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and there thudding started to come from all of the first floor windows. It appeared someone… rather; several some ones were trying to get in. They clawed and scratched and beat on all of the boarded up doors and windows like their lives depended on it. They didn’t appear to be making much progress.

Natalie was sitting there looking and acting as though she was just insanely bored and that whomever was out there was absolutely no threat at all. Truth be told, she was shaking in her boots. Still, though, she couldn't show that, and besides, it didn't sound like anyone was getting through the barricades, thankfully. There was noise outside, but nothing was getting through.
Natalie was just happy that the only Lord of Sin known for his intelligence didn't seem to be too keen on killing her. She could think of a few ways she was vulnerable right then, but the person outside evidently couldn't.
She looked at the Pride demon who had spoken, and just looked at him boredly, like he wasn't even worth her time. "Nothing," she said easily, still lounging in the throne. The demons outside weren't going to get in at any rate, not with the barricades this strong. If they began to make progress, then she would have her demons fortify the barricades again.

The demon speaking to Natalie backed off, seemingly humiliated by being told they were to do nothing. It could have been an act, this was the Pride circle after all. The banging on the barricades didn't stop, but they didn't seem to be cracking either, until there was an angry noise and suddenly a satyr with a particularly large set of horns burst through one of the windows, his torso hanging through the frame.
A couple of the demons looked around frantically for a moment, unsure of what to do before one of them gripped a knife they held and jammed it straight into the back of the satyr's head. After that, the scrabbling and banging at the barricades increased by several times. They seemed to be starting to crack them and even a few made it through. Most of the Pride demons were looking to Natalie for direction, as if they couldn't figure out how to defend themselves without an order.
