Natalie frowned when the satyr got in. Shit. Oh well, at least one of her new army of pride demons killed it fairly fast after standing their slack jawed for a few seconds. She stood up when the barricades began cracking- after all, her position on the throne hadn't exactly been optimal for shooting. She grabbed her gun from its holster on her hip and shot at the lust demons who had made it through.
Once that was done, she looked at her minions as though they were complete idiots. "What are you doing?" she asked, eyebrows knit together. "Go on, repair the damage and kill whomever gets through." Jeez, with underlings like these, who needed enemies? She wondered if Lucifer had managed to take all of his stronger, less idiotic pride demons with him, but she knew he couldn't have, not the way he'd gone out.
She didn't want to run into Ripley and Cassius yet, though. She had to get stronger first.

All of the pride demons watched mutely while Natalie mowed down the satyrs that made their way inside. None of them made it very far inside, and there were honestly not many, but none of them lifted a finger until she started yelling. Then the whole throne room was a cacophony of action, demons running back and forth with boards and supplies, trying to patch up the windows. Outside seemed quiet and a few of the workers even deigned to peek outside and there was murmuring across the workers.
One of the pride demons closer to Natalie called out to her, “My Lord, doesn’t appear to be any more Satyrs outside of the castle.
That of course, meant nothing until the other Lords of Sin made their pass at the vulnerable Pride Castle. Asmodai, the weakest, would have the least amount of resources to fight her with. Next would be Sloth, if they followed in power.

Natalie allowed herself to catch her breath. Well, that was good, but if what Mammon had said was true. . Then they had won the battle, but the war was still going on. She shook her head. "Continue repairing the barricades and fortifying the castle," she ordered. Asmodai first, hm? Belphegor would probably be next. Natalie hadn't had the displeasure of meeting any of the Lords of Sin, aside from Mammon, so she didn't really know how he would attack. Lazily, undoubtedly, after all, he was the King of Sloth.
Still, though, that didn't mean he wasn't a threat, even if he was a small one in comparison. At least after him she would only have three more Lords of Sin to contend with: Amon, Beelzebub, and Leviathan. Leviathan was the one she was most worried about. He wouldn't be happy that she'd usurped the throne of his "one true love".

Things were suspiciously quiet in the throne room and the surrounding first floor. It was kind of uncanny, considering how loud and quick the satyrs had tried to burst through the windows. The pride demons standing in the throne room started murmuring to each other, staying quiet enough to stay out of trouble, but there was still some tension hanging in the room. None of them really doubted Natalie’s capabilities, they were all simply scared for their lives. They didn’t doubt Lucifer’s abilities to keep the castle safe either, but he usually did that at the expense of their lives. They hadn’t seen Natalie act any differently; though she was already proving to be mountains more merciful.
A few of them wandered around, trying to keep busy with their fortifying duties, though it was mostly unnecessary. Most just stayed on their toes and kept their distance from the throne, save for a few who were bolder than the rest.
On the very tallest spire, Dago was starting to get a little bored. It had been more than two hours since Natalie had sent him up here, convinced that something was going to attack them from above. He didn’t doubt her in the least, he just hoped they’d fucking hurry up! He ran through the little knowledge he had about demons that could fly while he scanned the air, the horizon, and the ground. Out of everything he could think of, he could only come up with Gluttony flies and he really, really hoped Flies of Possession didn’t decide to show up and try to lay eggs in his brain… That was not only disgusting, but completely failing his duty to be up here and protect one of the more vulnerable points in the castle.
While he was looking one direction, he heard a sound similar to a helicopter behind him. It was… humming… or something. Dago couldn’t exactly describe it, but it didn’t matter. He turned around to see a weird looking chair making its way through the air, shuddering and making a valiant effort to pull the large man sitting in it. The chair managed to land on the very edge of the spire without much issue. Bad idea. The man was immensely huge, he rivaled Baphomet in size, from what Dago could remember of him. There wasn’t much time though, and Dago rushed up to the edge and shoved the chair as hard as he could manage. The chair moved just enough to knock it off balance.
“STOP,” Belphegor bellowed, trying to press the buttons on the chair while Dago shoved into the chair as hard as he could again.
The chair started to tilt; Dago gave one more shove on the chair. Belphegor took another route and tried to pull something from one of the compartments just over his shoulders, but with one more shove, Dago knocked the chair completely off of the edge of the spire, causing the chair to plummet quickly. He leaned over the edge and watched and Belphegor angrily started the flying function on his chair and went the other direction. He breathed a sigh of relief and remembered to add ‘flying sloth demons’ to the list of demons who could attack from above.
He thought maybe Natalie should know about the goddamn Lord of Sin trying to land on the spire, so he went through the door and carefully barricaded it shut, racing down the stairs.
At the bottom, he could see the throne room, at least, "Natalie, Belphegor just tried to get in from the tower!" he shouted, "He's gone now."

Natalie blinked when Dago came in. She'd been expecting another army to arrive. . Then again, it was Belphegor. He was a lazy man, definitely not someone who would try too hard. His downfall, probably, Natalie thought. All the Lords of Sin were guilty of their sin, ridiculously so. That had been Lucifer's downfall. Natalie just hoped that being the King of Pride wouldn't make her as prideful as Lucifer had been. Hopefully it wouldn't. She was barely a demon and she wasn't guilty of pride in the first place- Just greed.
"Good," she said, relieved that Dago had kept Belphegor from getting into the Pride Castle. That. . Would have been a hard fight, and Belphegor would have won it, despite him being one of the least powerful Lords of Sin. Natalie didn't even rank as one of the more powerful demons, so she would have been dead or worse.

Once Dago to the confirmation, he went back upstairs to watch out for any flies or something that might be coming their way. The army was feeling pretty good about their now two victories out of the six possible lords of sin. They were not aware they only had two more to go now, but they’d find out.
There was a sudden slamming noise against the front gate, and then it came again, quickly cracking the wood of the door. Whatever it was it was huge and extremely strong. It was safe to say, from the grunts and wailing, that it was Amon’s men. The wailing and scratching suddenly got louder and there were suddenly several slams against the door in succession. The throne room demons began to panic, whatever was out there sounded down right terrifying and none of them wanted to deal with it; much less to die.

Natalie frowned and reloaded her gun. She doubted that it would work against an army of demons- She'd need an assault rifle, a Kalashnikova or something similar. She didn't have time to get one, anyway. . She grit her teeth and tried to think of something, anything she could use against Amon's army. She couldn't have come this far only to fail. That wasn't right. She couldn't do that, she had to keep a hold on her power. For Lilith.
"If any of them get in, kill them immediately," Natalie said coldly to the pride demons. It was obvious that they wouldn't do anything without being ordered to. It wasn't surprising, considering how Lucifer ran his circle of Hell with an iron fist and didn't take well to insubordination.
Just like Mammon, except in a different way.
Natalie thought back to her earlier conversation with Mammon, trying to figure out if he'd given her any information on Amon. . No, he hadn't. He'd just told her that the Lords of Sin were opportunists, something she had already known. But he had set something on her desk. A box.
"I'll be back in a few minutes," she continued, her voice still cold. "If there's any breathing wrath demons here when I return, you're all going to be very unhappy, if you know what I mean."

The demons shuffled and some affirmed the order, watching all of the windows and doors quake ominously. A lot of them seemed to realize what was coming toward them and had serious issues keeping themselves together, but there they stood. A little bit of Lucifer’s touch seemed to be helpful in this situation, nothing that could be done by these Wrath demons was any worse that what Lucifer would have done.
The doors continued to shake while Natalie threatened them. All of them already knew what would happen if they left any Wrath Demons alive. They’d be promptly gutted and strung up by their innards while their blood dripped on the floor like rain; if they were lucky. They all stood back from the door, their various weapons aimed in front of them as the wrath demons battered the door. The only thing they could do now was wait for the onslaught.

Natalie nodded then quickly ran up the stairs to her office. She sprinted as fast as she could, grateful that her vampirism granted her a boost in speed. She couldn't allow her castle to be taken over by Amon. He'd kill her, at best. At worst. . Well, Natalie didn't want to think about that. She didn't want to think about that at all.
Finally, she made it to her office and pushed the door open. With shaky hands, she opened up the box that Mammon had given her. Hopefully, it would help her rather than hurt her. Mammon didn't seem to be against her, not right now at least- No, if he wanted her gone, he would have done it himself and gained Lucifer's power. Natalie hoped that her line of thinking was correct and that Mammon would have rathered himself the most powerful Lord of Sin and not Amon.

Inside of the small box, there was a small piece of paper, yellowed and torn with age. There were instructions written on it as simple as ‘Speak the Sin of the Demon you wish to Banish,’ in a looped, elegant script. There was nothing else in the red velvet lined box, just that simple piece of paper with the words written on it. It was unclear if the magic was in the box or the paper.
Downstairs, the wrath demons finally broke down the door and began swarming inside. They were cruel and ruthless and many of the Pride demons tried to fight back but were cut down and the Wrath demons began to feast on them. Some tried to rum, but they were run down as well. Blood covered the throne room, but the pride demons left continued to fight, trying to save their lives during and after the fight.
