Natalie eyed the piece of paper suspiciously. She was wary of using it, but she really had no choice. Mammon would have known that Amon would bring an army, and he would have known that Natalie had no way of winning against it. She heard the commotion downstairs and flinched. Well, she had no choice. She had to go and use this, as much as she hated being forced to rely upon Mammon.
"Wrath," Natalie said, her voice clear and loud. She gulped and closed her eyes for a moment, almost praying that Amon wouldn't appear in her office and kill her before the banishment went into effect.
Natalie was suddenly very glad that Dago was guilty of lust and not wrath. At least she wasn't guilty of wrath, either, but if she had been, she wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place. After all, the reason Lilith had found her was because of her guilt of greed.

When Natalie spoke the sin she wanted to banish, a wind kicked up in her office, blowing open the door and swirling downstairs. There was complete silence for a moment until the wind returned and the box slammed shut, sealing itself. The paper rearranged itself to read ‘do not open, get rid of box in 24 hours.’ There was an eerie silence from downstairs again.
Dago had heard all of the commotion and came charging downstairs to see if he could help, which probably wasn’t the smartest decision, but he was getting bored on the tower when no one was coming. He burst through the tower entrance door and halted.
“Woah,” was all he could say about the carnage around him.
The pride demons left were trying to tend to the wounded and carry away dead bodies. Most of the carpet and marble was stained with blood now, but every single Wrath demon was gone.

Natalie's eyes widened when she saw what had happened. Banished indeed. She wondered why Mammon had helped her, but then realized it was obvious. He liked being the most powerful Lord of Sin, of course. With Lucifer gone for the time being, he was the one in charge. Of course Mammon would have missed being the most powerful Lord of Sin. After all, before Lucifer had become the King of Pride, Mammon had been the most powerful.
Well, then. Natalie would just have to become the most powerful. She was sick of how Mammon treated her, just waltzing right into the Pride Castle as though he owned it. The son of a bitch probably thought he did.
Natalie walked downstairs and frowned at the dead pride demons. Well, they'd lost quite a few. . At least she had the power of vampirism to create more loyal minions, although she didn't want the other Lords of Sin to find out about that. That would be. . Unpleasant.

Dago quickly approached Natalie when she came downstairs, picking his way across the blood and gore carefully. The smell of blood was everywhere, best not to track it with him.
“The fuck happened here?” he asked, “I heard a lot of noise and then silence. It was pretty fucking weird.”
He did realize that she probably wouldn’t know either, being upstairs, but she was in charge. She had to know something, just in case it was seriously bad and they had to prepare for something else on top of demon invasion. What that might have been, Dago couldn’t fathom, but he preferred not to.
Before he could get more questions, out, there was a tapping at the front entrance. Leviathan stood there with two giant sea serpents at his sides, holding the stereotypical trident in one hand, using it to knock on the broken door.
“Well, you’ve survived this long, have you?” he said, disdain unhidden in his voice.

Natalie turned and saw Dago. "I. . I don't know," she admitted. She wasn't sure how Mammon had acquired a banish demons box or anything, but then again, she knew Mammon had his ways- The thought made her shudder, really. "You're still alive, though. Good." She couldn't have Dago die on her, too. . Lilith was stuck in a cage somewhere. . Natalie took a deep breath and was about to tell Dago the story of what had happened when she heard Leviathan's cold voice.
Natalie spun around and looked at him, straight in the eye. She couldn't show fear. Not in front of the Lords of Sin, who could practically smell fear. She kept a grave face and a grave voice. She had to. "Yes, I am," Natalie said calmly. "I suppose you're here to try to change that? All your colleagues have failed in their attempts, if I may remind you."

Leviathan picked his way past a few fallen pride demon bodies to come closer to Natalie. Not close enough or fast enough to strike, but enough so they didn’t have to shout across the foyer.
“I’m of a different caliber than your previous opponents,” Leviathan sniffed disdainfully.
The Sea Serpents slithered into the throne room very quickly, surrounding Natalie and Dago without hesitation. The stared down at the pair of vampires, not exactly menacing. They looked as though they knew they were simply meat shields and anticipated an attack. There wasn’t anything aggressive about their behavior in the least, except they were blocking the way behind them.
Lucifer pointed the trident in Natalie’s direction dramatically, “How did he die?” he said, more of a demand than a question, “If you answer me, I’ll consider making your death quick and painless, along with anyone else still surviving here. If not, I’ll just drown you; it’s my specialty.”

Natalie just looked at Leviathan like he wasn't pointing a trident at her and Dago, and like he hadn't just surrounded her and her right hand man with sea serpents. She couldn't show any fear. Not with Lords of Sin, not with demons like them. She just had to keep up the bravado despite the fact that she was quaking in her boots.
"He showed Lilith his lion form and she ripped him to pieces," Natalie said boredly. "I imagine you're awfully. . Envious of her, aren't you? He showed her his lion form; I doubt he's done it for you. It's funny, really, how madly in love you are with Lucifer and how little he cared about you. After all, he had been with at least half of Hell, if not more. Even with your brother!"
She laughed a little and examined her nails for a second before continuing. "Really, I can't imagine why you'd care so much about a man who obviously didn't even want to put forth the effort to wish you dead. It's almost cute, though, in a pathetic sort of way. Almost like Dimitri Archer, one might say," she finished before looking back up to see his reaction.

Leviathan bared his teeth and gripped his trident very tightly, his pale knuckles turning even whiter with the pressure. He didn’t say anything for a long time after she stopped speaking. “I don’t believe you,” he said finally, “I don’t think you actually know how he died, or maybe you’re… you’re responsible!”
His trident was shaking very faintly with anger. The Sea Serpents shifted just slightly, unsure of why their master wasn’t attacking and just seemed to be getting upset.
“You don’t know what he’s shown me or not!” Leviathan roared, “You don’t know if he’s fucked Mammon or not! You don’t know anything!”
Dago was staring at Natalie, completely oblivious to what she was attempting to do; how… the hell did she know all of this shit? It sounded like something one would find in the tabloids, but with lords of sin instead of celebrities. He did, however, snort rather loudly when she said Leviathan was as pathetic as Dimitri Archer. If this was the lord of Envy… that would sting worse than normal.
And it did. Leviathan slammed his trident into the ground, “How DARE you!”

"Of course you don't believe, dear," Natalie said, keeping her bored tone. Dear. Had to be condescending, too. Had to show that she was going to cross the line. "Deluded people never believe the truth." She shrugged. "Don't believe me or do; it doesn't matter. It's what happened."
"Oh, really now? I think I'd know far better than anyone else who Mammon's being fucked by, and you know it," Natalie continued, still staring at Leviathan. "And your reaction makes it blatantly obvious that you haven't seen his lion form. Jealous, much? I suppose it's fitting for you, considering you're the King of Envy and all. What a sad, pathetic position. I'm glad I took over this job and not your's."
Natalie smirked when Leviathan slammed his trident into the ground. "What? You know it's true. If it wasn't, then you wouldn't be getting this upset," she said. Truthfully, she was scared shitless, but she had to keep this facade up.

Leviathan fumed, gripping the handle of his trident for a very long time before yanking it back out of the ground. He angled it upward, like he was going to throw it. She did have a point, she would know better than most who Mammon was fooling around with and Leviathan did not like that news at all. He ground his teeth and fixed a dark glare on her, but still stood impotently in the foyer, doing nothing. His serpents were the only tactic he’d used so far, aside from listening to her talk and getting pissed off.
Leviathan suddenly pulled his trident down, “I can’t wait to see you fail at this. I’m going to visit your precious Lilith and tell her what a horrendous job you’re doing so far,” he disappeared in a pillar of water after that, his sea serpents slithering right back out the door.
“Holy shit,” Dago breathed once they disappeared, “Did… the fuck did you just do?”
