Dimitri Archer woke with a start and stood up from his chair as quickly as he could. He looked behind him and sure enough, his body was still there. He was slightly confused at why he was standing there staring at his gory body, but it didn’t matter; his soul belonged to Leviathan now. He figured that Leviathan was simply waiting for his pitiful life to end. He looked over near the door and he saw another figure there. Dago.
He was sitting on the floor, staring at his hands; that were mildly transparent. He wasn’t completely aware that he was all the way dead yet, apparently. That had been an unfortunate consequence of Tobey’s arrival. Dimitri had expected to die eventually, Dago was still young. Dago looked up at Dimitri with a shocked and appalled expression on his face.
“The fuck is going on,” he said as a statement and not a question.
“We died at about the same time, it seems, though I did before you, apparently,” Dimitri said coolly.
He wasn’t aware of what to do now, though he expected they’d find out soon.

The door was opened and in walked a tall, muscular woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked Scandinavian, and as she walked, the armour she was wearing clinked. "Dimitri Archer," she said in a monotonous voice. "Dagoberto Fidencio Vivar." She inclined her head to the two of them and closed the door behind her. She might as well, although she doubted that anyone was going to be walking in. It didn't really matter if they did, though.
"My name is Sigrid Valkyrie. I will be escorting you to your ultimate fates," Sigrid explained, her voice still monotonous. She sounded like she was reading a procedure chart, although there was nothing in her hands. She stared at the two of them, no judgement in her eyes- Just observing.
Well, it looked like she would be transporting Dimitri Archer to his doom. Sigrid hadn't been specially chosen for the task- She was just not busy at the time of the deaths.

Dimitri wasn’t fazed by the tall and slightly hulking woman that was standing in his office. He was just glad that he didn’t have to stay to watch the library burn down. He walked quietly over to the woman, his acceptance of what had happened. He knew he’d die eventually. It was an unfortunate way to go, but it was bound to happen and he just should have seen the signs.
Dago, on the other hand, wasn’t quite so accepting of what was going on. He scrambled to his feet, constantly clutching at his arms to make sure he was actually immaterial.
“What about the others?!” he asked suddenly, “Are they alright?”
Honest to god, if he thought about it, he wouldn’t have expected an answer, but she looked like the only person who would have any! He was afraid to touch anyone but himself, so he didn’t seem that desperate, but Marian was in the room too, when he was shot! He didn’t see a ghost-Marian, but that didn’t mean anything!

"I will be escorting you two to your ultimate fates," Sigrid said, changing the way she said her sentence. She didn't care about the others, nor did she know what had happened to them. She had been sent down to escort Dimitri Archer and Dagoberto Fidencio Vivar to Hell, and so she was going to do it.
Even if she had known what had happened to the others, she wouldn't have said anything about it. It didn't matter now to them anymore. They were dead and would never be coming back. Unless, of course, they managed a second shot, but that was rare.
Sigrid put a hand on Dimitri's shoulder and stretched out her other arm and put it on Dago's shoulder. At least he was close enough to the door. She began muttering some words in a language that Dimitri and Dago wouldn't know, and suddenly, they all began falling in darkness, like an elevator ride to Hell.

Of course, Sigrid just ignored the question. Dago tried to avoid the Valkyrie woman’s grasp, but the moment she had a hand on his shoulder, he knew he wouldn’t be breaking free anytime soon. Dimitri shut his eyes, already resigned to his fate, though it would be a hell of a lot worse than Dago’s. He momentarily thought about asking about the deal he had made with Hanniel, but he figured it didn’t matter much anymore. Sigrid wouldn’t know or maybe wouldn’t care to answer.
As soon as Dago noticed they were falling, he shut his eyes, too. This can’t be happening, not yet, not right this second! He needed to be helping everyone out of here, but he was fucking dead!
He opened his eyes again and he saw a very high pair of pillars and a wrought iron gate. Dimitri opened his eyes, too, but he wasn’t bothered by the sight. He’d been seeing it in his nightmares for awhile.
A tall, dark haired figure was standing behind the gates. Once the two appeared, he approached and opened it, looking straight at Sigrid.
“Why thank you, Valkyrie,” Leviathan said, using her title, “I’ll be taking Archer from here.”

Sigrid nodded, and took her hands off of both of the men's shoulders. It was common knowledge that Dimitri Archer had sold his soul, and so she wasn't surprised. That was what happened to those who sold their souls. Of course, Dimitri had had such a deal with Leviathan that would make his eternal punishment rather unpleasant.
Sigrid didn't pity him, though, or feel bad. She was just doing her job and following her orders.
She turned to Dago. "We'll be going to the Gate of Judgement now," she said, her voice still eerily monotonous. She began walking in the direction it was in, still keeping an eye on the mage. Some people didn't quite like accepting that they were dead yet, and it was a good idea to keep an eye on them just in case they decided to do anything incredibly stupid. Sigrid had transported many, many souls in her time as a valkyrie.

Dimitri stared up at Leviathan, who was appropriately taller than he was. His now-eternal company, how pleasant. Leviathan threw his arm around Dimitri’s shoulders, like an old friend would and steered him right into the gates of Hell.
“We’re in for a fun time, you’ll see,” hissed Leviathan, “I heard Baphomet told you all about it…”
Dago stared in horror as Dimitri just accepted what was going to happen to him. Dago’s eyes darted around the area, but there was no form of escape to be seen anywhere. If he really was dead, there was no way out of this.
“Alright…,” he said, following the valkyrie.
He vaguely remembered heat and possibly flickering light just before he died. Had there been a fire? He sighed and just hoped that while he was dead, everyone else was fine. If that much was true, that could possibly make this a tiny bit easier.

Sigrid paid no attention to the exchange between Leviathan and Dimitri- Or, at least, she appeared not to. She continued walking, keeping a fast pace but not trying to out walk Dago. He would get lost and she wouldn't be able to make sure he didn't run around doing anything stupid. Oh well. Such was the problem with escorting people to Hell.
Sigrid preferred to take people to Heaven, at least because it wasn't so creepy. She didn't let it affect her, but the creepiness was still there, undeniable and looming. She really preferred Valhalla to anything else. It was a far nicer place.
Finally, they arrived at the Gate of Judgement. Without saying a word, Sigrid muttered something under her breath and she disappeared. She had other things to do, more people to escort to their eternal afterlife. And so she went back up the elevator to receive her next assignment.

At this point, Dago couldn’t give a shit about what Sigrid wasn’t. She wasn’t the one who had to stay here, but he figured it was in his best interest to just do as he was told right now. He didn’t figure he had many choices at this point. He was seriously confused at why Dimitri wasn’t going with him in this, but then again Dimitri was a lot older. He didn’t know about him selling his soul.
Dago looked up at the gates of Judgment. He swallowed hard and he saw a succubus on the other side of the gate. Must be fucking waiting for me, he thought angrily. He’d spent so much of his damn life avoiding the fucking things, now he had to spend his afterlife with them.
There was a little green gnome with a large book sitting at a podium. He regarded Dago with a degree of disgust that made him really mad.
“Dagoberto Fidencio Vivar,” the gnome said, “You’ve been found guilty of the sin of lust and you have been sentenced to the second ring of hell to be covered in fire and brimstone for all eternity.”

Natalie reached the Gate of Judgement right as the gnome was judging the mage. Wait, mage, singular. There was only one. How peculiar. Natalie wondered what had happened to the other- Lilith had mentioned two, after all, hadn't she? Yes, she had. Hmmm. So what had happened to the other one? Well, there was only one way to find out.
Natalie walked up to the solitary mage and gave him a quick once-over. Well, maybe he would be useful. "Hello," she said to him, her voice calm and casual even though she was a bit confused as to why there was only one mage. "What happened to the other mage?" Then again, Natalie did tend to be always calm, or at least appearing calm. It was best to keep a tight leash on what emotions were expressed, she had always thought.
Considering he had been sentenced and not personally escorted by Asmodai, whose sin he was guilty of, he still had his soul. Excellent.
