Dago wasn’t sure he could get out of his own volition and wasn’t sure what would happen if he tried, besides, he’d probably be a ghost by the time he managed to get to the mortal plane.
He shivered a bit, because it was freezing, but managed to keep up with Natalie, not that he had a lot of choice; considering how surprisingly strong she was. He had no doubt that she could have picked him up and moved him that way, too. He blinked a few times as Natalie dragged him toward a castle… then into the castle, then up some stairs right up to someone’s apparent room.
Lilith jumped a bit when someone knocked on her door. She rushed to the door and opened it, happy to see Natalie, but didn’t immediately see Dago.
“Oh! Did you find them? What did you find out!?” Lilith said excitedly, “Come in, come in!”

Natalie nodded and walked through the door, still holding Dago's arm. Once they got inside, she let go of him. "Well," she began. "Here's some interesting news for you. Dimitri Archer's finally dead." She grimaced. "Leviathan collected him. Well, he'll be busy for a while now, I imagine. ." Natalie shrugged. She didn't like the fourth circle at all, and the thought of selling one's soul was anything but appealing to her- Especially with her knowledge of Hell.
"This is Dago," she said, gesturing towards the aforementioned mage. "He was guilty of Lust, although I decided to bring him here before he was led off. He hasn't hit on me yet, so I don't know just how guilty of his sin he is." If he hadn't hit on her yet, though, it couldn't be that bad, right?
Well, you never did truly know. She hadn't exactly read Dago's soul or anything. However, Natalie was taking a chance, and that chance was that Dago really was a good person at heart.

Lilith finally noticed Dago when Natalie practically drug him into Lilith’s chambers. She examined him and shut the door behind him. Dago peered back at her but said nothing. It seemed like the two were going to begin to talk about him like he wasn’t there, which was terribly impolite, but he couldn’t have cared at this point.
Lilith moved over and sat on her sofa, “No, he couldn’t have! Are you sure it was Dimitri Archer? How strange, I thought he was to be immortal. Do you think he found his successor?”
He must have, now that Lilith thought about it. She knew enough about the deal he made with the upstairs to know that was the only way he could have died.
“Well, if we have another mage and Leviathan will be busy, we may have to speed a few things up,” she mused, “I should probably begin to tell you about this plan of mine, so you can help me.”
Lilith regarded Dago again, then laughed, “Hasn’t hit on you yet? That's a good sign for us.”
Dago frowned. He had just died and he wasn’t sure if his junk even worked anymore, aside from the fact that he was about to be eternally punished for that very same line of thinking. He hadn’t really the mind to hit on Natalie, not right now.

Natalie nodded. "Yes, it was Dimitri Archer. He," she said, gesturing again at Dago, "Told me the other mage's name was Dimitri and that he was taken by a man with long black hair with sea creatures and salt. Does that remind you of anyone?" Considering the company of Lilith's bed, it probably would.
She shrugged. "He must have found his successor. And I would say that while some people are immortal, nobody is invincible," she mentioned. Nobody, not even mages, as the two dead mages in the room showed.
Well, at least one was dead. The other was undead.
Natalie nodded again. "Alright," she said. "And yes, it is a good thing for us. I think he'll prove to be useful." At least, unlike Renee, they could turn him into a vampire. They just had to go and actually do it. After all, Lilith hadn't gained the power. Not yet, at any rate.

Lilith rolled her eyes, “Of course it does, well, that means I’ll have to go see our friend in the center circle. I’ll have to speed up trying to get that ability to make vampires; he owes me a favor now.”
She realized that Dago was standing slightly uncomfortably, still at the door of the room. She stood up like she just realized it. She prematurely cut off the conversation she was having with Natalie to possibly explain some things.
“Well, I’m sure you’re terribly confused, I apologize,” Lilith said to Dago.
“Kind of,” he said, giving her a strange look, “Do you know what happened to the other mages?”
Lilith looked at him for a moment, reading his emotions. He was feeling confusion, apprehension, relief, and a hell of a lot of concern, but coupled with more confusion. Well, it didn’t seem that he was all that bad, just as Natalie had assumed.
“I’d like you to work for me, are you for it?” asked Lilith.
“What the hell would that mean? What could I do for you dead?” asked Dago incredulously.
“You wouldn’t be able to do anything, but undead is another story. I can turn you into a vampire, hopefully soon,” said Lilith.
Dago’s eyes widened and his eyebrows shot up to his hairline. What was this woman on? Even with all of the shit he’d seen, he’d never heard of vampires. Lilith seemed to sense the disbelief.
“Natalie is a vampire,” she explained, “She would train you and you’d be like her, but obviously under her.”
“Can she go to the surface?” he asked immediately.
“Well, yes, if I want her to,” Lilith explained.
“I want to live on the surface,” Dago said immediately, “I’ll do it, I’ll do what you like, but I want to live on the surface.”
Lilith was kind of surprised by the request, but she immediately felt a lot of regret and worry, so it made sense. She turned back to Natalie.
“What do you think?” she asked.

Natalie raised her eyebrows. What a strange request! What could he do on the surface? Well, feed, of course, but his friends were mages. Hah, mages having friends, that was a funny thought. In any case, he did seem to care about them- He did what t know what had happened to them, hadn't he? Natalie wasn't an empath like Lilith, but at least she had basic people skills.
Mages hunted demons, though. That was how things went.
Natalie found herself wanting a cigarette, though she supposed she could wait. "Well. . I suppose it wouldn't be horrible. I guess he could be allowed to if he was able to prove his loyalty and if there was some way we could contact him," she said.
Natalie couldn't imagine why Dago would want to live on the surface, though. It was sunny and horrid. Then again, Hell wasn't exactly a very nice place, either.

“Oh, well, that’s a fantastic idea,” said Lilith, tapping her cheek, “I’ll think about it and I’ll go over the details before I turn you, alright?”
She already had some ideas floating in her head, but she wanted to discuss it with Natalie before she made a serious decision. She was aware of all of the drawbacks of being a vampire, but she wanted to make sure they wouldn’t immediately lose their new recruit because she’d been careless.
Dago nodded. He hadn’t considered the idea that he’d be a demon at that point, but it didn’t really matter. This was the only way he’d be able to find out if everyone else was dead or they were fine. He’d come down here with Dimitri, but he’d seemed so resigned to the fate.
“I’ll get you a room then,” she said with a wave of her hand.
One of her servants opened the door and took Dago’s wrist to lead him out of the room, supposedly. He blinked a few times, but followed regardless. Today was extremely strange.

Natalie waited until Dago left the room to sit down next to Lilith on the couch. "So you think he's adequate?" she asked. Well, she had brought him all the way here and Lilith hadn't kicked him out, so he probably was. Of course, it was most likely best to make sure with Lilith. Just in case, of course.
Well, Lilith had told Dago she would turn him. Well, this would be interesting. Another mage in Lilith's army. Unfortunately, it seemed like Natalie would be personally responsible for him. And of course he was guilty of lust. Of course.
Just her luck, wasn't it?
"Are you ready to tell me the plan?" Natalie ventured. Lilith had just mentioned it. Besides, Leviathan would probably be busy for a while and Lilith was so close to getting the secret to creating vampires. . It seemed as though everything was falling into place perfectly for Lilith, even if Natalie wasn't sure how it was perfect.
Perhaps almost too perfectly. They would have to be careful now to make sure nothing went wrong.

Lilith sat down on the couch again, “Oh I think he’ll be more than adequate. I’m convinced he’ll be more than useful, even on the mortal plane.”
Mages simply made different vampires, they tended to survive longer and to grow much faster than regular mortals did. The more mages they could make into vampires, the better and she needed to visit with one of her bedfellows today if she wanted this one to be a vampire.
“Yes, I’m ready to tell you,” Lilith said, “I want to take over Hell. I want to fix things here and I want to make it better, but I have to start a war… Once I have the ability to make vampires, I’ll be able to start an army and then we’ll be able to begin our take over.”
She had a few other little secret weapons she needed to think about. Namely the girl she had taken in a few days ago.

Natalie nodded. Well, she hadn't ever met another vampire who had once been a mage, so once Dago was turned, this might be interesting. She supposed it might be a good thing if she was around to show him the ropes. Besides, it was far better than having to deal with certain annoying mortals who were more guilty of pride than Lucifer himself. .
Alright, that was an exaggeration, but Natalie was sure she could somehow make a case for it. Anyway, Renee was rather prideful. That much was blatantly obvious. Hopefully the girl would grow out of it.
Natalie nodded again. "I'll support you whatever you choose to do," she said. She knew that Lilith knew that most likely. . But still, it felt like a good thing to say. After all, Lilith had saved her from eternal punishment for her sin, and so she was eternally grateful.
