Selene rolled her shoulders and rubbed her wrists when the wires around her were cut. She frowned at the marks on her skin. It made sense that Madeleine was the one; it was all metal. She’d have to apologize to her for that, it must have been humiliating. She sat up on the couch and looked at her shoes in an effort not to make her shame worse.
“Tired,” she replied, “And thank you.”
Even if she didn’t like Marian or Dago, and didn’t really know Mischa, she wasn’t going to be rude and not thank them for taking the trouble. She rubbed her eyes and covered her mouth as she yawned. Wow, being possessed really took the energy out of her.
“May I go now?” she said, a bit curtly.
She didn’t like to be examined like this, but knew there might be a purpose for it. She was wholly unaware of her family’s disposition as well. She just knew many of them had been long locked up, finding out especially after what her late father did.

Marian shrugged. "Thank Mischa, she's the one who exorcised you," he informed her. He could understand why she was ashamed- He would be, too, but probably for different reasons. He'd be ashamed that he was weak enough to allow that to happen and that the entire Order had seen it happen, and it would just be another thing on his stack of failures that would come back to haunt him in the afterlife.
Marian rolled his eyes and sighed when Selene asked to go. "Not quite yet," he said. "Do you know where you were when the Insect of Possession got into you?" he asked. Marian had already been planning on asking this before Mischa had recommended he did.
He checked his watch. God dammit, he had to meet someone soon. Oh well, hopefully it wouldn't be a big deal if he were late. It wasn't as though he could explain this.

Mischa nodded when Marian mentioned her. She still had her arms crossed, she really didn’t expect thanks. She was also pretty glad to see he was taking her advice, though she’d thought to herself that he was smart enough to figure that part out on his own.
“Thank you then,” Selene said, looking up at Mischa.
She frowned when Marian nearly audibly rolled his eyes. She really didn’t know how to prevent possession, but she’d look into it now. She never wanted this to happen again.
“The only places I’ve been are here and my flat in Paris,” she said in a low voice, “I don’t remember anything weird in Paris, but if it was a bug, it was likely forgettable.”
She thought she’d remember one flying and possessing her, but if it was a demon, it’s likely she wasn’t allowed to remember. It apparently had control of her body, why not her memories?

Marian nodded, relieved. That meant that Beelzebub and his demons hadn't figured out a way to get into the Library, thank god. Because if Beelzebub knew how to, then Lucifer knew how to, and Marian did not want that to happen under any circumstances.
Thankfully, though, it seemed that the Library's whereabouts was a secret that even Hell didn't know. Marian was grateful for that, very grateful. He didn't want Lucifer popping up to say hello to him any time soon. Actually, not any time soon. Not ever. Marian would probably get a heart attack if that were to happen.
And then he'd die and go to Hell and that wouldn't be fun at all.
"You can go now, then," Marian said, dismissing her. He turned to Mischa. "You're dismissed, too. Thank you for that, and if you could teach me how to do that, I'd be pretty grateful." It was a necessity, the knowledge of how to exorcise.
